Rooftop HVAC Maintenance Program
Program was initiatied in response to energy market conditions. Summer 2001 was a lower water year (e.g., low hydroelectric output). Program objective was to save electricity by reducing electric usage in commercial rooftop heating and cooling units through preventative maintenance and repair, as well as equipment upgrades. The program developed a 14 point service checklist that emphasized equipment cleaning along with parts replacement and repair. The program was marketed and delivered via a network of HVAC dealers. the program covered full maintenance costs and incentive payments went directly to the dealers.
