Residential High Use Program

NSTAR’s Residential High Use Program is a residential weatherization program designed to achieve a maximum level of cost effective energy savings by targeting for weatherization those residential customers who use the highest amounts of electricity – often those with electrically heated homes. Primarily a resource acquisition effort, the program goals include achieving persistent energy savings through choice and installation of appropriate measures and improving the comfort, health and safety of program participants.

Participants must use more than 8,000 kWh per year and may qualify for a 75% discount on attic, wall and duct insulation, air sealing, heat pump tune-up and a 50% rebate on ENERGY STAR rated refrigerators.
